London to host first British-Azerbaijani forum on high technologies
The first British-Azerbaijani forum on high technologies will be held in London on June 25, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and High Technologies reported on June 5.
A two-day meeting of the communication ministers of several countries dedicated to Internet governance problems will be held in London on June 23-24 on the eve of the forum, according to the report.
At these events, Azerbaijan will be represented by a delegation of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies, led by Minister Ali Abbasov.
The cooperation issues between Azerbaijan and Great Britain in the field of communication and high technologies were discussed at the meeting between Abbasov and British Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, Charles Hendry, according to the report.
Moreover, Abbasov met with the Project Coordinator of the OSCE Office in Baku Alexis Shakhtakhtinsky. The cooperation issues in the field of cybersecurity were also discussed. A working group will resolve the cooperation issues in this area. The working group is expected to be formed with the participation of representatives of the two sides, the report says.
